Chef Alaza’ Mims had a deep love for art, but the direction of her creativity remained uncertain. Throughout her school days, she often found herself in trouble for doodling on desks and getting lost in daydreams filled with creative wounder.

Her passion for baking began during her first job as a dish washer in a local bakery, where she would often find herself playing with icing bags in the dish room.

Mims graduated from Wake Tech Community College in 2017 with a degree in Applied Science of Baking and Pastry Arts.

She draws inspiration from the delightful flavors of Korean desserts, and the captivating experiments in chemistry science labs.
